Greetings!

This year we are requiring all singers (regardless of past participation) to send us a short video submission of you singing and worshiping with two songs : Praise, Dancing on the Waves (both are in the the video links below). Also, past participation on the Chapel Team does not necessarily guarantee a spot this year.

Simply follow the directions on the Weblink (below) and then send us your video by Friday, August 9 at 7:00 pm.

As a quick reminder, private lesson enrollment with a teacher (does NOT have to be with RockPrep) is required for all Chapel Team members.

General Instructions

Students will need two devices to create the submission video, PLUS one parent.

Devices :

1. Device one : to play the Submit Video (so you can sing/play along)
2. Device two : to RECORD your video audition

Video Submission Recording :

1. Play the Submit Video through a Bluetooth or TV speaker so we can hear the music, yet still hear YOU clearly.
2. Mom or Dad Records the student playing/singing along with the Submit Video (NOT the Practice Video).
3. Upload your Video Submission to our Google Drive folder (link below) with your name as the title (ex: Michael Jackson).

Last, Chapel Team is all about worship and we'd like to see you worship as you sing/play.

Practice Instructions

Play/Sing through the Practice Video ALL the way through as many times as needed. The Practice Video is IDENTICAL to the Submit Video, with one exception : there is a click and a short count in on the Submit Video, and then a click only.

(HINT : Since the Submit Video is the one you will play/sing with for your submission, we highly recommend that you ALSO practice with it before recording your audition Video.)

Submission Video Recording :

1. Play the Submission Video through a Bluetooth or TV speaker so we can hear the music, yet still hear the singer clearly.
2. Mom or Dad Records the student singing along with the Submission Video (NOT the Practice Video).

You may record the video as many times as you like, but we will only accept ONE video audition. Video recordings done with mobile phone or mobile devices are expected and acceptable for this submission.

Remember, Chapel Team is all about worship and we'd like to see you worship as you play/sing.

Once you feel you have your best video recording, please submit it to our Google Drive folder. Note : Uploading files via Google Drive is much simpler with a Gmail account.
